MAX14916 Quad 2A High-Side Switch

Analog Devices Inc. MAX14916 Quad 2A High-Side Switch has eight high-side switches specified to deliver up to 1.1A (min) continuous current per channel. The two adjacent channels can be paralleled to form four 2.4A high-side switches. The high-side switches have an on-resistance of 250mΩ (max) at 125°C ambient temperature. The SPI interface has a built-in chip addressing decoder, allowing communication with multiple MAX14916s utilizing a standard SPI chip select (active-low CS pin pulled low). The SPI interface provides flexibility for global and per-channel configuration and diagnostics. The interface also includes under-voltage detection, open-wire/load detection, overload and current limiting reporting, thermal conditions reporting, and more.
