MAX17501/02/03 Step-Down DC-DC Converters

Analog Devices MAX17501/MAX17502/MAX17503 Step-Down DC-DC Converters with integrated MOSFETs operate over a 4.5V to 60V input voltage range. These Maxim Integrated devices feature peak-current-mode control with pulse-width modulation (PWM). The low-resistance, on-chip MOSFETs ensure high efficiency at full load and simplify the layout. A programmable soft-start feature allows users to reduce input inrush current. These step-down DC-DC converters also incorporate an output enable/undervoltage lockout pin (EN/UVLO) that allows the user to turn on the part at the desired input voltage level.

Himalaya Step-Down Switching Regulators

Analog Devices Himalaya Step-Down Switching Regulators are the "Peak of Cool" because they offer the latest switching regulator technology for cooler in-circuit operation. Products in this family all feature internal FET switches, synchronous switching architecture, support for multiple operating modes, and an extensive voltage input range. This family supports output currents of 25mA up to 5A. The Himalaya feature set results in switching regulators that provide the highest efficiency in the industry. This high-efficiency results in lower operating temperatures and very high input voltage tolerance (up to 60V), resulting in a robust, long-lasting regulator.

Industrial 4.0 Smart Factory Solutions

Analog Devices Industrial 4.0 Smart Factory Solutions is a concept that envisions factories of tomorrow as vastly more integrated, automated, and flexible. Using these solutions, factories can become faster and more efficient in churning out goods desired by the changing marketplace. Factory automation is concerned with the automatic control of process machinery. A process controller monitors and measures operational and environmental variables. The controller then sends actuation commands out to control devices or alarms. The controllers are usually microcontroller-based machines with an architecture optimized to meet the needs of the factory and application.
