The Diotec Semiconductor DI78M05UAB is assembled in the powerful SOT-89 case outline, offering a backside cooling area for easy heat removal and usage at higher ambient temperatures. The part features thermal overload and short circuit protection, which avoids damage to the part itself and the circuit supplied from it. Typical applications include control boards for domestic ovens, warming drawers, dishwashers, industrial heating controls, power supplies, and motor drives.
