Infineon Technologies PSOC™ (Programmable System-on-Chip) is a programmable embedded design platform that integrates discrete analog and programmable logic, memory, and a microcontroller. Easy-to-use software tools, like the PSOC Creator Integrated Design Environment, simplify the design and debugging of analog front ends and digital glue logic while accelerating complete system designs. The PSOC comes in four MCU options for 8-bit and 32-bit applications, ranging from the cost-optimized 8-bit M8C to the high-performance ARM Cortex-M3.

PSoC® 5LP Cortex™-M3 SoCs

Cypress PSoC® 5LP Cortex™-M3 programmable system on chip devices offer unmatched high-precision analog and the flexibility to design custom system solutions. Designers can use PSoC 5LP with PSoC Creator components to shorten design schedules accelerating time-to-market. PSoC 5LP is a true system-level solution providing microcontroller unit (MCU), memory, analog, and digital peripheral functions in a single chip. The CY8C58LP family offers a modern method of signal acquisition, signal processing, and control with high accuracy, high bandwidth, and high flexibility. Analog capability spans the range from thermocouples (near DC voltages) to ultrasonic signals. The CY8C58LP family can handle dozens of data acquisition channels and analog inputs on every general-purpose input/output (GPIO) pin.
