Gas-Tight Wire-to-Board IDC Connectors

KYOCERA AVX Gas-Tight Wire-to-Board Insulation Displacement Connectors (IDC) are surface-mount connectors that facilitate simplicity in connecting individual wires directly to a PCB. The dual IDC contact system employs a redundant gas-tight interface to the wire that has been tested for reliability up to automotive levels of temperature, shock, and vibration. These KYOCERA AVX connectors are available in various heights, termination styles, and configurations.

9175 Gas-Tight Wire-to-Board IDC Connectors

KYOCERA AVX 9175 Gas-Tight Wire-to-Board Insulation Displacement Connectors (IDC) meet the harsh automotive and industrial market applications for connecting individual wires directly to a PCB ranging from 28AWG to 26AWG. The 9175 components are tested to automotive levels of shock, vibration, and temperature cycling to prove their reliability and robustness. These KYOCERA AVX connectors are used to bring power and signal onto the PCB or to daisy-chain multiple boards together in a long string.

IDC Wire-to-Board Connectors

KYOCERA AVX IDC Wire-to-Board Connectors provide a robust, reliable, and efficient method to connect individual wires ranging from 12AWG to 30AWG directly to a PCB. The single contact design can function as a standalone component, providing designers access to IDC technology in an easy-to-use form factor that allows them to bring power and signal to a PCB in a wide range of applications. KYOCERA AVX IDC Connectors are suitable for demanding applications, including solid-state lighting (SSL) and industrial sensors and controls.

Wire-to-Board Insulation Displacement Connectors

KYOCERA AVX Wire-to-Board Insulation Displacement Connectors (IDC) are offered in 28AWG to 12AWG and 1A to 15A ranges. These connectors feature a high-performance phosphor bronze construction and a gas-tight WTB connection system. The IDCs accept solid or stranded wires, even uninsulated solid wire component leads. KYOCERA AVX Wire-to-Board Insulation Displacement Connectors are ideal for main PCB connections, sensors, motors, and LED applications. 

9175 Single-Contact SSL IDC Connectors

KYOCERA AVX 9175 Solid State Lighting (SSL) Insulation Displacement Connectors (IDC) Connectors are surface-mount single-contact connectors that support a 1 amp current rating and have a split SMT tail design to provide maximum stability on the PCB. The connectors accept 26 AWG to 28 AWG wires with an insulation diameter ranging from 0.7mm to 1.0mm, are available in 2p and 3p configuration, and can be end stackable for higher pin counts. Part of the 917x family, KYOCERA AVX 9175 IDCs allow simplicity in connecting individual wires directly to a PCB and have been tested to automotive levels of shock, vibration, and temperature cycling to demonstrate reliability and robustness.
