The components provide a surface mount solution that enables equipment to comply with global regulatory standards, and surge capability does not degrade after multiple surge events within limit. The SMA thyristors from Littelfuse feature low voltage overshoot, low on-state voltage, low capacitance, and fail short circuits when surged in excess of ratings. The components are RoHS-compliant and halogen-free.
