General Port Protection Solutions

Littelfuse General Port Protection provides a wide array of solutions for power and communication ports. Ports need protection from common electrical hazards such as lightning surges, induced power surges, power cross, electrical fast transient, electrostatic discharge, and short-circuits due to aging wires or installation errors. Littelfuse General Port Protection products are ideal for automotive, building automation, consumer electronics, and industrial applications.

SP402x TVS Diode Arrays

Littelfuse SP402x TVS Diode Arrays safely absorb up to 7A, 12A, and 15A per IEC61000-4-5 (t_p = 8/20μs) without performance degradation and a minimum ±30kV ESD per IEC 61000-4-2 International Standard. These devices integrate low capacitance steering diodes with one or two Zener diodes for unidirectional or bidirectional protection, respectively, to protect against ESD and lightning-induced surge events. The low loading capacitance and high surge capability make the Littelfuse SP402x series ideal for protecting telecommunication ports such as xDSL and other high voltage, high-speed legacy interfaces.

TVS Silicon Protection Arrays (SPA)

Littelfuse Silicon Protection Array (SPA®) TVS Diodes are designed to protect electronics from very fast and damaging voltage transients, such as lightning and electrostatic discharge (ESD).
