Molex Mini50 Connection System achieves 50% space savings over traditional USCAR 0.64mm connectors with sealed or unsealed Mini50 single- and dual-row receptacles, with smaller terminals to fit more low-current electrical circuits in interior transportation-vehicle environments. The integration of multiple devices in today’s transportation industry creates the need for harnesses with reduced weight and space. CMC/CMX Sealed Connector System

Molex CMC / CMX Sealed Connector Connector System features a wide range of high-density connectors and tools for the transportation industry. The connectors offer a compact design, matte seal technology, and mechanical polarization. Designed for high-conductivity applications in harsh environments, the CMC-sealed hybrid automotive connectors support low, medium, and high current applications from 2.5A up to 21A and perform in sealed applications requiring an IPx9K rating and 500mbar water tightness. The CMC connectors are ideally suited for heavy-duty, powertrain, and body-electronics applications in the transportation industry, such as engine-control units (ECUs), gearboxes, electronic park brakes, and suspension controllers. Molex CMC / CMX Sealed Connector Connector System includes accessories such as extractor tools, crimpers, and insertion tools.

Mini50 Unsealed Automotive Connectors

Molex Mini50 Unsealed Automotive Connectors are a wire-to-board connection system with smaller terminals to fit more low-current electrical circuits in interior, unsealed, transportation-vehicle environments. The CTX50 mating terminal wire grip design offers the ability to reduce wire gauge sizes while maintaining retention strength. The design achieves a 50% space savings compared to traditional USCAR standard 0.64mm unsealed connector systems. Orientation features are molded into the header, vertical or right angle options provide wire-routing and module design flexibility. This system includes gold, SMT, and 2Ckt size models, tape and reel options, plus models with an independent secondary lock (ISL) and connector position assurance (CPA). Molex Mini50 Unsealed Automotive Connectors are well-suited for automotive and commercial transportation applications including headliners, navigation, radios, cameras, HVAC, switches, lighting, mirrors, and steering wheel columns.

Molex Safety and Driver Assist Solutions streamline the development of advanced features strategically designed to create a safer driving experience. Advanced Driver Assist Systems (ADAS) embedded in intelligent vehicles are virtual copilots.
