i.MX 7 Applications Processors

NXP Semiconductors i.MX 7 Applications Processors are highly integrated multi-market applications processors for enabling secure and portable Internet of Things applications. The i.MX 7 processors are part of NXP’s EdgeVerse™ edge computing platform. i.MX 7 utilizes the Arm® Cortex®-A7 and Cortex-M4 cores for general-purpose programmable processing. A dual-core architecture enables them to run sophisticated operating systems and provide real-time responsiveness. The i.MX 7 components incorporate four independently controlled resource domains allowing maximum effectiveness and security when partitioning system resources like memory and peripherals.

i.MX 7ULP Applications Processors

NXP Semiconductors i.MX 7ULP Applications Processors enable ultra-low-power and secure, portable devices. The NXP Semiconductors i.MX 7ULP processors are part of the EdgeVerse™ edge computing platform. The processors' power management feature enables multimedia features and peripherals to consume minimum power in both active and various low-power modes. The processors can power applications such as smart-home controls, wearables, portable healthcare monitoring, printers and scanners, and gaming accessories. NXP processors are built on Arm® Cortex®-A7 and Cortex-M4 cores with separate isolated domains. The processors also utilize 3D and 2D Graphics Processing Units (GPUs). NXP processors support up to 32-bit LPDDR2/LPDDR3 memory and other interfaces for connecting peripherals.
