SMTSO ReelFast Steel Nuts & Spacers/Standoffs

PEM SMTSO™ ReelFast® Steel Nuts and Spacers/Standoffs mount on PC boards in the same manner and at the same time as other surface-mount components, reducing product handling as well as the risk of board damage. The SMTSO modules simply become another board component. This process also results in faster assembly. They are available in a thread size as small as M1 / #0 to #80 and a minimum sheet thickness of 0.5mm / .020". PEM SMTSO ReelFast Steel Nuts and Spacers/Standoffs are RoHS compliant and are available in threaded or unthreaded versions.

Automotive Electronics (AE)

PEM Automotive Electronics (AE) feature design-engineered products and solutions for critical applications. As electronics-based systems in vehicles become more complex, high performance and reliability are key. PEM fasteners are lightweight and feature a reduced footprint, less assembly time, and safety-critical reliability. PEM fasteners are smaller than screws and have a sleek cosmetic profile, making them ideal for today's consumer electronics. They are lighter, stronger, and more reliable than traditional screws. They are also easier to install, which results in faster production and reduced maintenance on the line. PEM fasteners also reduce or eliminate loose hardware, which means less scrap waste. PEM Consumer Electronics (Tack) products feature a variety of TackPin Self-Clinching Fasteners, including MPP™ microPEM Self-Clinching Pins, MSOFS™ microPEM Flaring Standoffs, SMTSO™ microPEM Surface-Mount Fasteners.
