Type 2 - Conventional AC Charging Products for Europe carry out single- or three-phase AC charging in charging modes 2 and 3. As part of the safety concept, both PP and CP signal contacts assume control functions. These detect whether the vehicle connector is correctly inserted in the inlet and which level of power may be used for charging.
