EP Connectors

TE Connectivity's (TE) Economy Power (EP) product line features wire-to-board connectors ideal for power circuit applications. The EP series features a 0.156" centerline (3.96mm pitch) with 1 to 12 positions. The EP series connectors accept 22AWG to 18AWG and offer a voltage handling rate of 250VAC with current-carrying capabilities up to 7.5A. Complete system mating is achieved with polarization tabs to prevent misalignment and a positive audible latch to confirm proper mating. TE Connectivity EP Connectors are well-suited for household appliances, commercial and building equipment, HVAC and vending controls, industrial machinery and equipment, coin changers / vending machines, and lighting applications. EP 2.5 Power and EP II Series with Terminal Position Assurance (TPA) Device versions are also available.

Economy Power Connectors

TE Connectivity's (TE) Economy Power Connectors are compact single-row or dual-row crimp connectors based on a 2.5mm (0.098") centerline pitch. The EP 2.5 series comprises housings, contacts, headers, and optional contact retainers. The contact retainers offer terminal position assurance (TPA). When inserted, these optional TPA retainers maintain full contact insertion within the housing. In applications with random vibration, these TE connectors help prevent the contacts from backing out of the housings.
