IS32LT3175N/P Single-Channel Linear LED Drivers

ISSI IS32LT3175N/P Single-Channel Linear LED Drivers come with fade in/out and PWM dimming. The regulators serve as a stand-alone LED driver-configurable from 20mA to 150mA with external resistors, no microcontroller is necessary. A logic level “courtesy light” signal from the PWM pin can be interfaced to precisely drive the LED channel. The IS32LT3175P obtains a positive polarity PWM signal. In addition, the IS32LT3175N obtains a negative polarity PWM signal. The regulator integrates a 63-step fade-in and fades out the algorithm (Gamma correction). This causes the output LED current to increasingly rise up to the full source value after the EN pin is pulsed.

TPS61194 Low-EMI 4-Channel LED Driver

Texas Instruments TPS61194 Low-EMI 4-Channel LED Driver is a high-efficiency, low-EMI, easy-to-use LED driver with flexibility to support a wide range of applications. This DC-DC converter supports both boost and SEPIC mode operation. This device has four high-precision current sinks that can be combined for higher current capability per string. The device provides high dimming ratio 10 000:1 for up to 200Hz input PWM frequency. The converter has adaptive output voltage control based on the LED current sink headroom voltages. This feature minimizes the power consumption by adjusting the voltage to lowest sufficient level in all conditions. For EMI control, the DC-DC converter supports spread spectrum for switching frequency and an external synchronization with a dedicated pin.
