UltraWize Wire-to-Board Power Connectors

Molex UltraWize Wire-to-Board Power Connectors are designed specifically for data center applications and utilize Coeur socket technology. This technology incorporates conical sockets to ensure a large conductive surface area that reduces contact resistance and voltage drop. This minimizes heat generation and delivers high current carrying capacity. These connectors feature a cable-side exit configuration that uses minimal space for design flexibility and efficiency. The cable-side exit also eliminates cable-bend radius, which increases the power density of devices. A positive-lock function prevents the connectors from accidentally unmating. Molex UltraWize power connectors deliver 170A of power and offer SMT reflow-capable headers in a pick-and-place package. The series has a UL 94V-0 flammability rating and operates within a -40°C to +125°C temperature range. Typical applications include servers (GPU) and switches.
